Top of the Rock Wedding

There’s fall magic, and then there’s Top of the Rock in autumn—where the views are breathtaking, the foliage is showing off, and the sunsets look like they were painted on! This dreamy wedding had all of that... and so much more.

Sweet Hannah, the bride walked down the aisle in an absolutely show-stopping couture gown paired with a flowing white cape that gave off major regal energy. (Honestly, if there were ever a time for a cape, your wedding day is it.) Her bouquet was fall perfection—an artful explosion of dahlias, ranunculus, roses, dried grasses, and texture galore in warm tones of cognac and blush. It looked like October and romance had a baby! LOL!

They exchanged personal vows—sweet, funny, tear-jerking—in leather-bound vow books that felt both timeless and totally on brand for the day. And as the sun poured through the chapel’s massive altar windows, (You have to see it to believe it!) it lit up the brilliant fall leaves and shimmering Table Rock Lake in the background! Pastor Dan did such a beautiful job officiating!

The celebration continued as we all headed to the reception, just down the road from Big Cedar Lodge at the Shooting range! The rustic building, complete with twinkling candles, cozy wood textures, and just the right amount of mountain-lodge-meets-modern-romance. Guests dined, laughed, toasted, and maybe even shed a happy tear or two. This couple and their family & friends celebrated big time that day! I have had the privilege of photographing this couple a couple more times after their wedding too! So fun to have clients like these that keep coming back to me for their special life moments!
